E-centives, Inc., the company that developed the E-centives Web site, has created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy.

E-centives, Inc. is a licensee of the TRUSTe Privacy Program. This statement discloses the privacy practices for the E-centives Web site. When you visit a Web site displaying the TRUSTe trustmark, you can expect to be notified of what personally identifiable information of yours is collected; How the information is used; With whom the information may be shared; and How you can correct any inaccuracies in the information.

Providing your personal profile is completely voluntary and will be kept secure using our cutting-edge digital identification technology. We require that our participating companies respect these privacy standards and your selection of products and services of interest.

E-centives, Inc. has been at the forefront of privacy issues since our founding. It is our policy to allow our customers to provide as much - or as little - personal information to us as they feel comfortable doing.
We hope that, like many of our customers, you will want to provide information about yourself to E-centives because it will make our service more valuable to you. We believe that, upon reviewing this policy, you will feel comfortable that our practices allow us to do our job-delivering great offers to you-without unnecessary use or disclosure of your information by us. Collecting Information
We obtain information about you from your registration and, in some cases, from our partners. To use our service, we only require that you provide minimal information such as your e-mail address and a password. You can always provide us with additional demographic and profile information, such as your shopping interests, so that we will be able to deliver offers more tailored to you.
We use a feature of your browser called a "cookie" to store a "User ID" on your computer. In this way, you do not have to re-enter your e-mail address and password each time you visit our site, or our partners' sites at which you register. We do not use cookies to find out the personal identity of any user. If you would like to remove our cookies from your computer, please review our "cookie information" in our Help page at E-centives.com/help or the corresponding section at our partners' sites.
In some cases we may track or collect information about your use of our service by the numeric address assigned to the computer you are using (your IP address) or by the URLs that you come from. These methods also allow us to resolve server problems or administer our service. Generally, we do not associate this information with any other personally identifiable information that you may have provided us. We may also automatically collect and store statistics and other information about your use of E-centives both on an aggregated, non-personally identifiable basis and in a manner that may allow us to associate such information with other personally identifiable information about you.

Using Your Information
E-centives is always trying to provide you with compelling reasons to use our services. We use your demographic profile and shopping preferences to provide you with offers and information that are of interest to you. We analyze what our customers like and don't like about E-centives' offerings so that we can design better services. We develop summary - not individual - reports for our offer providers so they may determine effectiveness of their offers. We also use your information to operate our service and for other general internal business purposes. We may disclose aggregated information about our service to third parties, but these parties do not learn anything specific to you. Our service acts as a system for offer providers to deliver offers to you. When you click on one of the offers in our system, in certain cases you are thus taken to the offer provider's website.
We are not involved in any transaction between you and a merchant. As a result, we have no control over the truth or accuracy of offers, the terms on which the offer provider will require the offer to be redeemed, or the quality, safety or legality of the products or services associated with an offer. In addition we have no control over the information gathered by the merchant at its website as such information will be governed by that offer provider's privacy policy.
There are only a very limited number of situations where we may disclose your identifiable information to others. First, if you register for our services through certain select partners with whom we have a close relationship and whose branding you see displayed when you use our services, we may provide certain purchase preference and transaction information about you back to such co-branding partners (in which case their use and disclosure of such information is governed by their privacy policy with you). Personally identifiable information not already collected by such partner will not be provided. Second, if you register for our services and receive offers directly from a offer provider's website, we may provide your e-mail address to that merchant, but not without first informing you. In these circumstances, you will always have the option of not accepting such offers. In all cases, we do not control our offer providers or their privacy policies, so we encourage you to ask questions about their practices if you have any concerns.

Contacting You
Based on your e-mail preference selections, we may send you e-mail communications to provide information or offers that we think you will find useful. We also send periodic e-mails so that you can see your E-centives. You can choose to unsubscribe and not receive any future e-mails from E-centives if you wish to (see Controlling or Changing Your Information below). Please note that so long as you are a member, we may occasionally contact you for administrative purposes only.
Security
We use our cutting-edge digital identification technology along with industry standard efforts (such as firewalls or secure sockets layer where appropriate) to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information.

Controlling or Changing Your Information
You can view and change your contact information and preferences at any time by going to the "preferences" area at E-centives.com/home, or the corresponding area on the E-centives section of our partner sites through which you registered for the service, and following the instructions on that page. However, we can only update the information that is on our databases. To the extent that the information is also stored in other databases, we have no ability or responsibility to update those as well.
Children
We only offer our services to adults. IF YOU ARE A MINOR, PLEASE DO NOT PROVIDE US WITH YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION OR OTHERWISE USE OUR SERVICE.

Limits on Our Abilities
Although your privacy is very important to us, due to the existing legal and technical environment, we cannot ensure that your personally identifiable information will not be disclosed to third parties in ways not described in this policy. We can (and you authorize us to) disclose any information about you to law enforcement or other government officials as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to address or resolve inquiries or problems.
